Hello, again and happy summer time!
Our last discussion revolved around understanding your “why”: Why do you live your life the way that you live it; why do you want the things that you think you want; why do you wake up each morning, exercise, go to work, eat the foods that you do, go to sleep when you do, etc., etc., etc.
Understanding your personal “why” will be the only thing that keeps you moving when the motivation runs out and the burnout sinks in.
Knowing WHY you do what you do allows you to create the habits and the discipline that guide you through the times when you just want to give up.
And here’s the deal, we all have those moments. Sometimes, life is just hard. Motivation can’t and won’t always be present, whether it’s motivation to eat healthy, to workout, to clean our bathroom, wash our dishes, do the laundry, go to work…. BUT we have to do those things if we want our lives to continue to function, have meaning, be enjoyable, and not constantly overwhelm us.
If you’re having a hard time determining your “why”, or a hard time knowing if your current habits support where you want to be, reach out to us at info@c5.fit – it is our goal as an individualized functional fitness facility to help each and every member develop the consistency and the discipline they need to support their individual lifestyles and their individual goals.
No single person is the same, so their approach, their consistency, their “why” will all vary.
Until next time!
