The Diet

Hi everybody,
Started my Diet on 4-22-19 weighed in at 135.6lb at ~4pm
I ate a good amount of Easter candy that previous Easter Day, so did not do myself any favors!

In the mornings I start with a protein shake.  I put 1cup of almond milk, one scoop of veggie protein (my preference is chocolate, gotta get it some how!). One tbsp of almond butter, one tbsp of MCT oil and a banana, spinach, and strawberry’s if I have them!

MCTs can be converted into ketones, which are produced from the breakdown of fat when carb intake is low. If you’re following a ketogenic diet, which is very low in carbs yet high in fat, then taking MCT oil can help you stay in the fat-burning state known as ketosis.
Lastly, your gut environment is very important when it comes to your weight. MCT oil can help optimize the growth of good bacteria and support the gut lining, which could also help you lose weight (11).

For lunch’s the past  4 days I have had healthy choices of soup (which work great for my 1/2 hour lunch break at work) or salads.  And dinners it’s been recipes from Mind and Body ( with an exception of a good planned meal or salad from a restaurant)

4-25-19 I weighed in tonight because I was curious!  

I believe I’m making progress!  I have not locked down a good exercise regimen though!  I do get out and hike or jog here and there but I’ve been consumed on every spare minute with getting the company ready to launch!!   Hopefully I’m doing that blog justice (Starting Vai) because it’s been a reality check!!!!!!!! Literally can’t use enough explanation marks for that!  Sarah Newlon you know!
