This world isn’t easy. It isn’t always fun, it rarely makes sense, and sometimes it makes us question, what is the point of it all?
Whether you believe in a higher power or not, the same truth holds for all of us: we are rarely given anything we don’t work for.
Every single person on this earth has goals, has hopes, and dreams; want more out of this life. The thing that differentiates us as human beings are, who is willing to work hard for what they want? Who is going to make their health, fitness, family, or financial goals come true?
Let’s talk in simple terms.
As a gym owner and fitness coach I commonly see the goals of 1) wanting to do push-ups from the floor, and 2) wanting to do pull-ups. Male or female, both of these goals are typically held for many individuals with who I come in contact.
Why?
Well, they are both feats of strength. They are also both challenging to complete multiple reps while maintaining good form. The best part, those who are able to accomplish these goals WORKED for them. No one is born with strength, agility, balance, or skill. Those are all attributes that must be earned, day in and day out.
One of my favorite quotes is, “Fitness is never owned. It is rented. And the rent is due every day.” It can be applied to every single goal you have.
This year is almost over so get out there and PAY YOUR RENT! Your goals are 100% attainable if you’re willing to put in the work.
