Getting Ready OMG

 First of all everyone Happy First of September 2019!  I can’t believe it’s September already, before we know it it will be November and I will be turning another year older 11-21 baby! 

I’m sure we all agree that Time is flying by and Vai is progressing!  Latest big news for Vai this week is approving the top run sample from our manufacture!  So as long as everything stays on track we will have 2000 Vai Athletica U-Line Sports Bras ready for sale!  

     While waiting for our inventory my three partners and I are lining things up on every aspect we can think of.  Getting the back end of the website ready for whole sales, shipping to customers, inventory, invoices, figuring out delivery system, preparing my office at home getting ready for packaging, and let’s not forget that little subject called Marketing!!! OMG just typing it scares me! Having a good idea and product is useless if it is unknown to the public, so marketing a good product, in my opinion, is everything.  

    A few good things we have lined up are:

•10 of our bras are already lined up to go into Fleet Feet Sacramento, so we will be going into retail right off the bat!  If we do good there and they continue to carry our product then 

•We are trying to line up a professional sports photographer who reached out to us through a mutual friend/supporter (Thanks Tracy Parrot!!)  If he can fit us into his busy schedule we will be able to update our website and have lots of material for social media marketing!;) please send us good thoughts!

•We have set up my new office in my new house!  We just ordered a new label printer. Feeling prepared only makes it that much real and exciting!  

    A few bad things:

•We have been hit twice now with the tariffs in China.  Even though this will not stop production and should not interfere with arrival date, it definitely sucks!  My partners and I are not limitless in funds, we have to make what we have last and stretch! I will definitely be praying for God’s guidance! 

•I love my new house though we have really slow and unreliable internet service.  I have had the hardest time getting my laptop to connect to the internet! I literally have not been able to log into Quick Books for the last 3 days!  How am I supposed to be the bookkeeper and run an e-commerce business if I can’t utilize my internet!  

•I have been having a super hard time-deligating my time!  Between my 3yr old (whom I started potty training 6 days ago) my full-time job at the Vet Clinic, my new house that I am still moving into, and starting a sportswear company Vai Athletica I can barely see straight!  My moods are so up and down I feel like a see-saw, my insincerity and ignorance at running a company scares the pants off of me but my partners are definitely my saving grace! 

There are still options of support out there that I want to learn and look into,  women-owned businesses and Kickstarter. I can’t wait to give back and make a difference on a large and small scale! Please give good prosperous thoughts to this company.
