Financial Reality

Ok! I’m touching up on this tender subject because it’s a reality,  I do not make enough money at my occupation to start a business and everything it entails! I do have two other partners that are more financially equipped than I.  We have all equally invested, I was able to do so through borrowing it, though we have come to discover that expenses have expanded. I contribute small amounts from my biweekly paycheck when I can and it is taking a toll!  Don’t get me wrong, I’m not going to become homeless but finding myself short on all my bills, expenses and gas toward the end of the pay period is now always an occurrence! And currently, I am overdrawn in my checking account by $8.18!   Aargh! My husband is awesome about covering me and helping me when I ask but I don’t want to continuously need that. It’s embarrassing! It has been a very step by step process with a lot of emotional ups and downs and with every step comes a cost!

Now some of those costs, thank goodness, do not apply to us.  Though it has still been a rollercoaster of a financial, emotional, ride!  There are a lot of resources out there, some I have discovered and some yet to be found.  In all sad reality though, it’s been a difficult crazy year and with a full-time job, a three-year-old and living with my mother in law I have not been the most motivated!  Kick Starter was one I looked into and still want to go for! With the help of Sarah we made an account and filled out the majority of it to launch our project but then it got set on the back burner.  Ya know it feels like my thoughts and attention needs to be on 7 different tasks at once with nothing 100% complete. My hopes are that when it’s time everything will fall in line I.e. Booking/finances, product, packaging, marketing, website sales, retail sales, and I’m sure 5 more things I can’t think of at 8:38 am Thursday morning â›….
