Cleanse Time

   Hey guys it is March 22nd 2020 and it’s a bit crazy here on planet earth!  My last Blog on health was about my new workouts with Fit 4 Moms, with Shelter in place here on the central coast my new workout club is doing online workouts.  It is such a great alternative, you can join the facebook live recording or watch and workout later at any time! Granted It is not quite the same as being with everyone outside but I still feel like I get a workout.  

   About 3 days before things got extreme with Covid-19 I ordered a 30 day cleanse from Arbonne through Jamie Jenkins Arbonne consultant.  What a perfect time to start something I can focus on, put effort into instead of getting wrapped up in the mass hysteria all around me.  My Cleanse is as follows

  1. Digestion plus powder in an ounce of water.  I then drink 8 or more ounces of water. This product has soothing notes of ginger and chamomile, it delivers pre-biotics, 3billion CFU of probiotics and enzymes to help support digestive function. 
  2. Protein shake ( 2 scoops of protein powder contains important nutrients like Dietary Fiber, vitamins A,C,D,E  Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Folate, Biotin, Calcium, Iron. Only to name a few.) I add 1 scoop of greens balance which contains a spectrum of proprietary color blends of whole fruit and vegetable powders, delivering antioxidants, phytonutrients and fiber. A ¼ -½ scoop of fiber which helps support gastrointestinal health, regularity, and healthy glucose levels.  It also supports the cardiovascular system. I also add frozen berries, spinach, almond butter and ice blended to make one delicious shake. I usually make enough for two on my working days. I will have a very small lunch or just the second shake.  
  3. For dinner I have cut back my portion size and try to do very healthy low calorie meals, i.e. grilled chicken lightly seasoned/small amounts of rice or other starch and a good portion of veggies.  Grilled salmon or rockfish with similar sides
  4. I am not to eat past 7pm ( I have been only 50% on that one) Right before bed I have the Arbonne detox hot tea. A caffeine free herbal tea with 9 botanicals that support the liver and kidneys. 

I just started implementing workouts in my garage, I work out right before dinner.  I include a circuit of jumping rope, lunges across the driveway, free weights with the BowFlex, then a jog around the block, ending it with abs and stretches/yoga.  I enjoy the workouts and hope to start seeing the fruits of my labor soon. I have been working this cleanse to the best of my ability and I appreciate my strength for cutting down portion size and eating more healthy!  I am grateful for being introduced to Arbonne and knowing they have achieved their Certified B Corp is very impressive!
